What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser and reads back on later visits. They can be needed for the site to work (technical cookies) or serve other purposes, such as statistics, which require your consent.
Technical cookies
They are needed for the site to work and require no consent. They remember the chosen language, your cookie preferences and, for editors only, the admin area login.
Statistics cookies
They are set only if you consent to the “Statistics” category in the banner. The site uses Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited to count visits in aggregate. Accepting this category also enables playback of embedded YouTube videos (youtube-nocookie.com), which may store data in your browser under Google’s rules.
Google information: how Google uses cookies, privacy policy.

How to manage your choices
On your first visit a banner lets you accept, reject or pick individual categories. Closing the banner counts as rejecting. You can change your mind at any time: open the cookie settings or use the “Cookie” link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. Blocking technical cookies may stop some site features from working.
